Congratulations to the Academic Team on their 3rd-place overall finish at the NAQT tournament! A special shoutout to Grayson White, who ranked second overall in total scoring, showcasing exceptional knowledge and quick thinking.

M.L. King Middle School and Santa Rosa District Schools are partnering on a professional clothing drive for our students. We’re collecting new or gently used business-professional attire for teens (juniors and adult sizes) — items like suit jackets, pants/slacks, pants/skirt suits, button-down shirts, ties, and dress shoes. These donations will benefit our student competitors across the county and of course here at KMS! Hopefully with an abundance of donations our students will have access for years to professional business attire for our Amazing Shake competitions.

King Middle School has received the 2025 Purple Star School of Distinction designations from the Florida Department of Education!
This recognition is provided to celebrate schools that go above and beyond to support the unique needs of military-connected students and their families. We are proud to support our military students and families here in Santa Rosa County!

Thanks so much to these employees from the SRC Board of County Commissioners who volunteer their time to mentor our students participating in the "Amazing Shake" program sponsored by Navy Federal Credit Union! They volunteer weekly and have been a great resource!
